The Caregiver Incentive Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports in-home caregivers and those in need of care throughout the UP. Superior Life Services has been providing CPR AED training for their caregiver training classes. We also worked to provide them with CPR masks for all their caregivers.

The Builders Show is an event put on by the Builders Association of the Upper Peninsula. Superior Life Services provided a booth in 2023 to highlight the importance of CPR and First Aid training. Approximately 10 people took time out of their day to quickly learn and practice Hands-Only CPR. A drawing was held to win a CPR Pocket Mask, with one lucky winner walking away with a new lifesaving tool for their vehicle!

Embers credit union decided to host an employee wellness fair for their employees on a banking holiday. Superior Life Services provided general information on when to call 9-1-1 and how to set up cell phones with emergency contacts and medical information that would be useful for first responders if the person was unable to provide their own medical information. We also taught the group Hands-only CPR and explained the benefits of having an AED nearby.

Marquette Charter Township hosted a community safety forum for residents. Participants included Marquette Township Fire Department, Marquette County Sheriff Department, and UPSET. The purpose of this forum is to give residents an opportunity to find out what each department is doing within the community. Superior Life Services was invited to present on the importance of community members learning CPR and First Aid, and also provide an opportunity to learn Hands-Only CPR. [More]
